Step 5: after the visa appointment

After your visit to the embassy, you will receive your passport with the visa within seven days.

  • Please send a picture of your visa to @IAC@.
  • The form called "Certificate of Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J-1) Status" must be carried on your flight and displayed when you arrive at the USA, otherwise, you will not be able to enter the country. You must also keep the document for the entire year so you also have it when you leave the country.
