We know some sections take longer to answer than others, and that you will spend a fair amount of time answering them as detailed as possible. That’s why you have the option to “Save Draft”. It will save all the changes you have made so far in a section, and you will be able to continue completing it later. Once you are done, it’s time to click on “Complete”. It will tell your International Admission Coordinator that you have finished your application and that they can start reviewing it for approval.

No, all the sections of the Student Application (HUB) and the documents included in it, should be answered in English. Remember: a host family will see your application, and your documents will be presented at the school for your enrollment. Therefore this should be completed in their native language: English.

Yes, we have translations for some documents in some languages. Please reach out to your International Admissions Coordinator who can send you the translation or direct you to where you can translate it.

Since you have to complete the documents in English, you can only download the English version. However, you can translate these documents with the help of any online translator (we recommend translate.google.com) and use this as a guide. Please remember, only fill in the English version of each document, and fill all answers in English in.

To upload more that one document at a time (in the same section), you simply need to add the first document/page using the “Upload file” button and, then use the “add” button for any additional other documents/pages.

No. For us to start looking for your host family, you need to complete all six forms of the Student Application. That being said, your health documents are essential, so please make a doctor’s appointment if you haven’t done so already.

No, we need scanned copies. These documents are often used for your high school enrollment, so the quality must be good (we should be able to read all parts of the document easily). If you don’t have access to a scanner at home, we can recommend the app “Genius Scan”.

The forms you need to complete first is is your Placement Packet which includes Student Info, Health and Wellness and Placement Documents.

Once you have completed the first six forms of the Student Application, your profile will be available to the FO who will start looking for a school and host family for you. This cannot happen if the first six forms aren't complete.

Great question! There is no definite answer to this, unfortunately. Most students learn about their placement between April and June. We need to find a suitable host family for you. Then, this family needs to be screened and fill out an application similar to yours. Simultaneously, we need to enroll you in the local high school. High schools decide for themselves when they sign enrollments; some do it on a running basis when others don’t do until the late spring/early summer. We promise to contact you as soon as your placement is complete – we know that you are excited!
